Founded in 2018, Arquite puts a principal on every project from the first site visit through to handover. The person who walks your plot is the person who signs off the drawings.
We work in brick, stone, lime and concrete, and we detail for the climate the building actually sits in. Shade before cooling, cross ventilation before ducting, mass before machinery.

Things people ask before they call
Which areas do you take work in?
The studio is based in Dholpur, Rajasthan, and we take projects
across the state and the wider Delhi region. For sites further
out, tell us where the plot is and we will say honestly whether
we can supervise it properly.
What happens in the first consultation?
We look at the plot or the existing building, ask what you want
out of it and talk through a realistic budget and timeline. You
leave knowing what is feasible. Nothing is drawn until scope and
fees are agreed in writing.
How long does a project usually take?
Design and drawings usually run to a few months depending on
size and how quickly decisions get made. Construction depends on
your contractor, the season and approvals. We give you a stage
by stage schedule at the start rather than a single date.
How do you charge?
Fees depend on scope, floor area and how much site supervision
you want. You get a written fee proposal listing exactly which
drawings and visits are included before any work begins, so
there is no open ended bill.
Do you produce drawings for approvals?
Yes. We prepare the drawing sets needed for local sanction and
coordinate with the structural consultant. Approval timelines
sit with the authority, so we plan around them rather than
promise a date we do not control.
Can you work with a contractor we already have?
Yes, and it often works well. We issue drawings your contractor
can price and build from, then visit site to check the work
matches. If you would rather we recommend contractors, we can do
that instead.
What if we change our mind during design?
Changes are normal early on and cost nothing but time. Once
working drawings are issued and material is ordered, changes get
expensive, so we flag that point clearly and make sure you have
signed off before we cross it.
Do you take interior only projects?
Yes. Apartment and office interiors are a regular part of the
work, including joinery drawings, lighting layouts and finish
schedules for an existing shell.
